The hotel is situated on the North Eastern coast of Zanzibar, and approximately 45 minutes from the airport in Stonetown. Azanzi is a luxury boutique beach hotel which boasts 35 rooms comprising of 8 suites, 12 luxury suites, 9 villas, and 6 deluxe villas.

New Dive Centre

Azanzi Beach Hotel is delighted to announce the imminent inclusion of a dive centre and new members to our management team.
Thus far, dive and snorkelling activities have been provided by outsourced service providers, the uptake of which has been significant and has led to the hotel electing to establish an onsite dive and snorkelling facility. Azanzi will now build on the relationship it has with One Ocean as they become the operator of the dive centre. The centre will be managed by Yong Mi and Fabiene, both highly experienced dive instructors and both of whom have spent three years on the island managing a similar One Ocean dive centre at a nearby hotel. The dive centre will open on the 1st of June 2010.
The hotel is equally excited to introduce two new members to the management team. This dynamic couple have already spent some time at the hotel and on the island in the capacity of developing the hotel before returning to South Africa. It did not take any effort to invite both Greg and Cara back to the island and to Azanzi. Greg contributes exceptional interpersonal skills quite apart from his complete understanding of the hotel operations. Cara, an experienced and qualified health and wellbeing instructor will present some novel activities including sunrise yoga classes on the beach.
Our hotel manager and the Azanzi team are eager to deliver a superb island experience and is be able to offer a wide variety of experiences designed to accommodate the diverse set of interests of our guests.

The hotel is proud to anounce the arrival of 10 unique galls bottom sea kayaks, designed to magnify the sea life below as you paddle along the protected coast line. Azanzi is the first hotel in Africa to receive these kayaks.
